PROJECT HIGHLIGHT

Our client loved the neighborhood, but was not keen about the design options available. We decided to stay with the standard builder elements and renovate the home once they closed. Wanting touches of drama we used deep teal, rust, and mustard in select areas to create a lovely, luxurious feel while also creating a comfortable and inviting home.

We elevated the design by adding custom cabinetry, quartzite countertops, white oak flooring, soapstone mantle surround, and dramatic wallpapers. The blend of textures of the smooth quartite with the hand made zellige tile backsplash gives interest to the high ceilings. We created different areas for different tasks such as, a breakfast bar for coffee, tea and toaster, a beverage area near the dining room, and a scullery with plenty of storage.
